| What is a Studymonkey?

| This question is asked all of the time. The name came from an assignment given
to the site founder during a programming class. Come up with a website address
which meets the following criteria:
1. Easy to spell.
2. Easy to remember.
3. Has not already been taken.
This sounds like a simple task, but with the number of websites already out
there it is more difficult then you might imagine.

| Long story short, after several hours of trying to come up with a website name,
and getting pulled off course numerous times to look at sites whose names
"could not possibly be taken," Ryan happened to notice a small stuffed monkey
which sat on the desk where he always studied. |
Everyone hears the name and chuckles, but then they admit they will not forget
it. This is important, because once you use our services you will be so
impressed we hope you will tell other people where to find us. |
